My brother and I recently used the DNA testing company MyHeritage and the results said we shared 38% of our DNA. We are confused because we thought full siblings shared 50% and half siblings shared 25% of their DNA. Why are we right in the middle?

My cousin (who is 6 months older than me) and I are in love with each other. I heard that there may be a chance of genetic disorders in the next generation if we both marry.
Actually his father and my grandmother are brother and sister. My cousin had a problem with his eye...not a very big problem but one of his eyes is smaller.
Now if I marry him is there any chance of happening the same thing to my next generation?

As a female, I am wondering how I am genetically related to my paternal grandfather. Since he gave my father a "Y" chromosome and I do not have one, is there other genetic information passed down in other forms?
