My wife and I recently went to a fertility clinic and we are worried they may have implanted the wrong embryo. We both have an A blood type and our child has an AB blood type which I have read is impossible. How can we determine what is going on?

I have heard that if a man matches at only 13 out of 15 markers on a paternity test, he can be ruled out as the dad. Is that true?

Can first cousin DNA testing identify relatedness when more than two prospective living first cousins are available for testing? In my particular case all three individuals are male (I am one of them), the other two may be sons of my mother's sister and brother respectively. I understand that testing between two first cousins is not very reliable and am wondering if having a 3rd increases reliability in any noticeable way.

My aunt (50 years old) was recently diagnosed with aplastic anemia. She comes from a family of eight children. All seven of her siblings were tested to see who would be a bone marrow donor match. One match was found, and some of the other siblings were matches with each other.
I am wondering what makes siblings donor matches with each other over other siblings. I understand that it is in their genetic makeup and that they have a 25% chance of being a match with each sibling. Please let me know if you can clarify for me what would make a closer match between some siblings than between others.

How is DNA tested in people who died in accidents like a plane crash where their body is completely burnt? And who do they test their DNA against because they might be from different countries and far from the accident site? Is their DNA tested against/with their parents only?
