April 30, 2014: Do geneticists encourage gene splicing for people who can pass a genetic disorder to their children? I guess what I am asking is if a parent would be required to undergo a genetic profiling before they are allowed to go ahead with their family planning? In so doing the embryo would be given a DNA scan and should there be any deformity that link would be removed, in order to create a perfect child.

April 22, 2014: I went to a genetics workshop and they talked about altering the genes, in a cat with cancer for example, so that the cancer would glow and they could observe where it traveled. They didn't get a chance to get into the process so how does that work? How would you get the luminescent DNA into all of the cancer cells?

June 26, 2013: Woman A is in menopause and cannot produce eggs. Take the eggs out of woman B, strip out woman B's DNA and put in woman A's DNA.  Then take the new eggs and fertilize with man A's sperm. Then implant those fertilized eggs into woman B to carry to full term.  Would the resulting baby be man and woman A's full biological child?
