November 3, 2006: I have the A Negative (A-) blood type. My mother has the A Positive (A+) blood type, and my father has the O Positive (O+) blood type. So, how can I have the A- blood type if both of my parents are + blood type? Could I have gotten my blood type from one of my grandparents?

May 26, 2005: Tengo 15 semanas de embarazo y recientemente me hicieron una serie de análisis de sangre. Me enteré que mi tipo de sangre es AB+. Mi papá definitivamente es O- y mi mamá no está segura de su tipo de sangre. He visto varias páginas de Internet que dicen que esto no es posible, que mi papá no puede tener O-. Esto es correcto?

May 24, 2005: ¿Es posible que dos padres Rh negativo tengan un hijo que sea Rh positivo? Estoy embarazada de mi segundo hijo. Mi tipo de sangre es O-. Mi esposo y mi hija tienen sangre tipo A-. En mi última cita el ginecólogo me dijo que en mi próxima visita se me haría una prueba de anticuerpos y que lo más probable es que necesitara una vacuna Rhogam. Sé que esto se administra como medida de precaución en caso de que el bebé sea Rh+. Sin embargo, yo pensaba que esto era imposible ya que tanto mi esposo como yo somos Rh-. Cuando le pregunté a la enfermera, me quedé muy sorprendida cuando me dijo que es posible tener un hijo Rh+, debido a genes recesivos del Rh+. ¿Es esto cierto? Toda la información que he encontrado hasta ahora me lleva a creer que esto es imposible. (Y sí, estoy 100% segura, sin ninguna duda de que mi marido es el padre de mi hijo).

October 15, 2004: Soy Pelirroja y tengo sangre Rh negativa. ¿Existe alguna correlación genética entre los dos? Además, ¿cuál es la diferencia entre los tipos de sangre Rh negativa y Rh positiva? Gracias
