My mother and I both had DNA tests and our results turned out a bit different. She is related to someone as a 4th-6th cousin and I am not. Since she is my mom, shouldn’t we both be related to her?

I am a woman with two half-sisters and a half-brother. My half siblings are full siblings to each other. We share the same father and different mothers. Is it likely I am more related to my half-sisters than my half-brother?

My cousin (who is 6 months older than me) and I are in love with each other. I heard that there may be a chance of genetic disorders in the next generation if we both marry.
Actually his father and my grandmother are brother and sister. My cousin had a problem with his eye...not a very big problem but one of his eyes is smaller.
Now if I marry him is there any chance of happening the same thing to my next generation?

Shouldn’t my sister and I have the same ancestry results for our DNA? We have the same parents.

As a female, I am wondering how I am genetically related to my paternal grandfather. Since he gave my father a "Y" chromosome and I do not have one, is there other genetic information passed down in other forms?

My cousin and I have dads who are brothers and mums who are sisters. We like to call ourselves double cousins or half-sisters. How closely related would we actually be?

My mother who recently passed away was adopted at birth and I have been searching for her biological family. I recently received my results from Ancestry DNA and was matched with a gentleman it says is likely my first cousin. He is 83 however and I'm 30 so it seems like the age might be a little off for that to be the relationship. I'm just curious if it's possible for them to mistake him for a first cousin when there is a different relationship? Is it possible for him to instead be my mother’s sibling, my uncle? What other possible relationships could it be if any?
